Saturday's Closing Quotatio

New York, June 10.

Trading in the cotton market was fairly slow and narrow. Some liquidation and profit taking was in evidence, influenced by the uncertainty surrounding the conference now sitting at Washington over the Appropriations ill. Most traders were absent from the floor, and closing quotations ruled from 1 to 3 points down, compared with the previous closing levels.

Wheat in Chicago presented a quiet and featureless appearance. Evidence points to the market as being still susceptible to weather considerations. Today, the weakness of cables restricted trading to narrow proportions. Final quotations were from unchanged to % cent down.
