Tur Provincial Relief Committee in Kweichow has allotted $20,000 for the relief of victims of the recent flood in the south-eastern pari of the province, while the Chairman of the provincial administration, Mr. Wu Ting-chang, has requested the "National Relief Commission to remit huge sums of money for he same purpose, says a dispatch to the "Sin "Wan Pao." The flood, it is reported, effected ten districts, destroyed over 30,000 houses and took a toll of more than 2000 people dead and wounded.
