Last night's Tyro Cup match was won by Meadowbrook—W. H. Allman, Turbyfill, Krikoriantz and Siemssen 4] who triumphed over the Durhams (E)—Low, Norman, Lyster-Todd and Clu Rivau (substitute for W. J. Keswick in a good but rather one sided match. by seven goals to four. The Durhams were conceded one goal handicap which was not of much ji help.
Meadowbrook's greatest asset yesterday was their being mounted on far and away superior ponies which 2 could, literally, run rings around their father unfortunate opponents who Were really poorly mounted. Clu Rivau was well mounted with some of Keswick's ponies. Clu Rivau played hard and well for the losers but could not get sufficient support fiom the others who tried hard enough, but could not get their ponies to do better than canter.
