A committee to control the retail prices of commodities here has been organized and is now conferring with responsible dealers, Chinese newspapers reported here' today.
When prices have been fixed they will be displayed in all shops which will not be permitted deviate from them, these reports said, The decision resulted from the large price increases experienced hhere during the past few months greatly reducing the purchasing power of the average consumer, these Feports continued, Meanwhile, the newspapers assert ed, the Government was taking steps prevent the hoarding of commodi-tes and food stufls—United Press
