Netherlands Passenger Plane Crashes

Five Killed, Eleven Hurt In Aerodrome Accident

Amsterdam, Nov. 15.

Two passengers and three members of the crew were killed yesterday when a K.LM. air-liner from Berlin crashed as it was about to land at the Schipol aerodrome.

Eleven other occupants of the plane. which carried fourteen passengers and a crew of five, were injured and had to be rushed to hospital for treatment. These included the chief pilot, Hr. Duimalaar, and a New Zealand woman, who were seriously hurt, and two London men and a Canadian.

Low clouds hindered the pilot. The machine, which was a Douglas type, crashed nose down and was completely destroyed, but it did not catch fire.

The passengers were composed of four Britons, eight Germans and two Czechs.—Reuter.
