New York, July 12, Mr. Albert Lodwick, personal representative of Mr. Howard Hughes. today predicted the millionaire sportsman and his crew of four would complete their aerial trip around the world in four and a half days on the basis of the speed at which they have traveled so far.
He said the total distance that would be covered would be 14,710 miles.
Mr, Lodwick said that Mr. Hughes tentative plans on departure called for a stop at Movosibirsk beyond Moscow and about one-third of the way across Siberia, at Irkutsk near Lake Baikal and then 3,000 miles to Alaska over the Siberian "Taiga" forests, swamps and barrens below the Arctic circle.
It was understood that the fliers would skirt all areas in which Sino-
Japanese hostilities were going on.
