Lerida, Jan. 10.
Fog marred operations on the Lerida front yesterday, with operations being confined to the southern and central sectors. There was fighting near Lerida where the Nationalist [front was strengthened and on the Ull de Molins-Vinaixa-Fulleda line, where the Nationalists advanced.
A Nationalist communique in Salamanea announced today that Republican attacks in the Valsequillo and Pennaroya sectors of the Estremadura front were repulsed yesterday with but little effort. Attackers in the Sierra Tejonera district were completely routed. In the Monterrubio sector, eight Russian tanks were captured, and the enemy left over 3,000 dead on the battlefield—Havas.
