Yellow' River dykes have been breached in over thirty, western districts, according to the special correspondent of the "Ta Kung Pao" at Wuyuan—Reuter. to be extraordinarily low. Over nine tenths of the water of the Yellow River is pouring through two large breaches in the dykes. The. largest breach is at Tutan and the other one further.west at Chinshulchen, Major-General Tessima, who commanded the Japanese vanguard at IChungmow, halfway between Kaifeng land Chengchow, claimed that Jsucceeded in reaching Kaifeng from [Chungmow without losing a man or gun when the floods forced him.to withdraw his troops.
