The Nationalist Government, in an official radio announcement last night ejected the proposal made by Republican Foreign Minister, Sr. Alvarez del Vayo, that the execution of political prisoners should be suspended on both sides, The statement says that, contrary io what had happened in Republican territory, nobody ever had been executed in Nationalist Spain without a regular trial and political opponents had never been tortured. Nationalist Spain, as a sovereign state, would continue to apply law as hitherto, the statement adds.—Trans-Ocean,
