Philadelphia, Sept. 2.
The draw for the first two singles of the Davis Cup final between the United States, holders, and Australia was held today.
Bobby Riggs of the United States will clash with Adrian Quist of Australia, while Donald Budge, American world champion, will meet Johnny Bromwich, the youthful Australian who holds one victory over the lanky Californian.
Bromwich beat Budge early this year during the tour of Australia made by Budge and Gene Mako. Budge, however, has beaten Bromwich on several occasions, The first two singles will be played on Saturday.
Although the United States has an nounced that-the famous Budge-Mako combination will represent the country in the doubles, the Australian m has yet to be named. The doubles will-be played on Sunday
