The Reichsbank return issued today shows the gold stock unchanged at 70,800,000 but foreign exchange holdings decreased by 500,000 to 6,500,000, making a total decrease in the note-cover by 500,000 to 76,300,000 Reichsmarks. The note circulation rose by 725,300,000 to 6,868,500,000 Reichsmarks, The amount of credit issued as measured by bills, cheques, advances and investment inereasad by 865,900,- 000 to 7,531,500,000 Reichsmarks. The total amount of legal tender in circulation on the end of August was returned at 8,935,000000 as. against 7,087,000,000 on August 31 last year and 5,574,000,000 at the same date in 1933.—Trans-Ocean.
