The annual general meeting will be held in the offices of Mr. W. R. M. Stevens, Room 318, Wayfoong House 220 Szechuen Road on Thursday, October 27, 1938, at 5.30 p.m.
W. R. M. STEVENS, Vice-President Drumalla and Cottonlight did then mile together, their time being 2.21.2, neither of them finishing well with the last quarter in 324. The Swan took 2.19.3, over his mile, doing the last quarter in 34.1, hardly finishing in the good style he displayed in his race last Monday when running a ood second to Don Augustin, who ad been allowed to make a run away race of it in very slow time.
Man O'Zest did his mile in 2.18, but put up a poor finish with the last quarter in 35; however, his last time out with the colours up, he ran like a true race pony, and may repeat it next time out. Benlomond was taken a mile in 2223, showing poor style and doing his last quarter in 343. Stonylight may have gone 1% mile, his last mile was 2.19, but the finish was not good when taking 35.3, over his last quarter.
The Frigate went an easy canter of % mile in 144.1, last quarter 32.1. Gold Vase and Cordon Rouge were out at the same time and both indulged in slow canters only.
