It is understood that some time ago ihe police received information that the situation in Ireland between the North and South might leid to disturbances in England unless Irish problems are solved. 5 There were three explosions in Manchester yesterday in which one person was killed and three injured. Holes were blown in the road and windows were shattered.
These explosions had hitherto been attributed to a fusing in the electric system, but, owing to the coincidence that they occurred simultaneously with.the London explosions, they are g further investigated.
