London, Apr. 10.
At question time in the House of Commons today the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Mr. R. A. Butler, declared that no negotiations had recently taken place with the Russian Government about the resumption of discussions on trade questions, but the subject was raised by M. Ivan Maisky, the Soviet Ambassador, lately in a conversation with Lord. Halifax, the Foreign Secretary.
Mr. Butler told the House that no date had at present been fixed for the return of the British Ambassador, now on leave in England, to Moscow—Reuter.
