Manila, June 12 The 41st anniversary of the Philippines Proclamation of Independence from Spain was celebrated at Cavite today.
The Filipino revolutionary hero, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, unfurled the bullet-riddled first fag of the short-lived Philippine Republican which he headed when he went to Hongkong io seek Admiral Dewey's assistance in overthrowing the Spanish regime.
