In Yugoslavia Officers of German Origin Being Dismissed

Fifth Column Drive

Belgrade, June 4.

Several decrees have appeared in che official military gazette lately withdrawing the commission of reserve army officers of German origin -nd belonging to the German minority.

No reason is given for these decrees and it would seem that they are a part of the measures being taken against a possible fifth column in Yugoslavia.

Thus, the military gazette of today publishes a decree withdrawing the commission of Ferdinand Ribovschek, lias Franz Pere, the editor of the "Deutsche Volksblatt," a newspaper published in German for the benefit of the German minority.—Havas.
