Hanoi has become a dead district, states a Hongkong report published by the "Sin Wan Pao." Cargo transportation in Kwangchowwan has been stopped. It is alleged that the French aerodrome in Hanoi can be borrowed by the Japanese military. There are more than 100 Japanese inspectors in Hanoi, and each of them is accompanied by more than 10 assistants.
Meanwhile, fighting between Japanese and Chinese soldiers in Kwangsi province where the latter have been trying their best to prevent the former from approaching the French border, is still going on. It is claimed by a Chinese report that Lungtaoyu has been recaptured by the Chinese, who are quickly pushing towards Funan by crossing the Li River. Japanese forces in Lungchow have been repeatedly attacked and their strength has been greatly reduced, it is further claimed.
