The Home Front

All Great Britain is in the front line. Civilians share with the soldier. the sailor and the airman grave risks in the defence of the Home Land. They may be members of the Home Guard or making munitions, guns, aeroplanes in districts marked for attack by the enemy. They are going about their daily business. But they are all in the front line, The Lord Mayor of London says money is needed for hospitals. Let us hope the need will not be too great but let us help so that however great it proves to be, it is met.

The Central British War Fund has remitted £2500 this month "For Hospitals". Every dollar you can spare is needed so that the Fund's monthly remittances to England ma: not fall away. Donations and subscriptions should be sent to Mr. G. H. Stacey, Hon. Treasurer, c/o Hongkong & Shanghai Bank.
