Franco-British Stand

The Soviet charges against Italy are regarded in British and French circles in London as a diplomatic quesfion to be settled direct between the two countries, Britain and France are convinced that piracy is entirely a separate matter from non-intervention, and that the confusion of the two would only waste time.
